Russia’s Renova plans to raise reserves of Oganchinsky field
PETROPAVLOVSK-KAMCHATSKY, Aug 2 (PRIME) -- Kamchatka Gold, a unit of Russian multi-industry holding Renova, plans to raise reserves of the Oganchinsky gold field on the Kamchatka peninsula, geological exploration company Rusgeology, said in a statement on Tuesday.
Oganchinsky is a satellite of the Aginskoye deposit which has almost run out of resources. Oganchinsky is now believed to have reserves of 3 tonnes of gold if the gold content in ore is 16.9 grams per tonne, or 10 tonnes if the content is 5 grams per tonne.
